In the first week of November the Internet Governance Forum 2020, an international meeting of the digital industry will be taking place. As a part of “Pre-Event”,  IAB Poland organized a panel “Taxing the digital economy – how to do it fairly?”. The event is under the patronage of the UN.

The digital sector is under increasing regulatory pressure. Legal standards for privacy, personal data flow, copyright and audiovisual issues are constantly created and updated. All this is done in order to create a digital single market in the EU.

At the invitation of IAB Poland, Agnieszka Wnuk, Partner at MDDP with dr Damian Flisaki (Ringier Axel Springer Polska), dr Filip Majdowski (Ministerstwo Finansów) and Anna Wrześniewska (Allegro) will discuss the regulations introduced to create the so-called digital single market in the EU and will present solutions that are to foster innovation and not lead to loss of competitiveness. The meeting will be moderated by Włodzimierz Schmidt, IAB Poland.
