In autumn we come back with a series MDDP on Polish Taxes webinars addressed to our clients and foreign partners. The first topic will be remote working which is a trend becoming more and more popular in the pandemic world.

The current situation has escalated remote working at a rapid pace. However, remote work raises challenges in legal and administrative fields. Additionally, if the place of the remote working is located outside the country in which the professional activity is performed, this can have a significant impact on the taxation of salaries and on social security coverage. Both for the cross-border employees and their Polish & foreign employers.

The meeting will be conducted by MDDP Tax Advisory company and MDDP Law Firm experts and will be held in English. Webinar is free of charge.

Agenda
  1. Remote working – current legal framework in Poland
  2. The employees working from abroad – selected tax, social security and legal aspects
  3. Taxation of work performed in Poland under a foreign employment contract – general rules, obligations of the payer, case study
  4. Social security issues – domestic law, EU legislation and current approach of the Polish Social Security Office
