Specializes in income taxation of natural and legal persons, taking into account international taxation rules, both from the point of view of Polish and foreign entrepreneurs.
In MDDP, responsible for the development of advisory related to broadly understood tax incentives, such as special economic zones, research and development relief, relief related to supporting new investments or IP Box.
As part of the “international tax” specialisation, he also advises on withholding tax. He analyses cross-border payments to determine the correct tax treatment, supports payers in assessing the most appropriate course of action when making outbound payments, and represents both taxpayers and payers before tax authorities and administrative courts. He has experience in matters concerning opinions on the application of treaty benefits, refund and overpayment procedures, as well as tax and customs audits.
Has extensive experience in the implementation of restructuring projects with regard to the ongoing activities of taxpayers as well as their investment plans.
Developed foreign investment structures for Polish residents and assisted foreign investors in starting operations in Poland. He structured transactions related to the sale of the enterprise, acting on the buyer’s or seller’s side.
He assists families and business owners in establishing and managing family foundations and supports the boards of family foundations and founders in ongoing tax matters.
