Ongoing climate change presents new challenges, both in our daily lives and in the way we do business. Regulatory requirements, social and market pressures result in sustainability issues increasingly influencing business and becoming of strategic importance for entrepreneurs.
Operating a company in a socially sustainable, responsible and environmentally friendly way may determine its relations with investors, financial institutions, contractors, consumers and even employees. In the process of climate transformation, an important role is played by so-called green taxes, i.e. statutory liabilities that burden activities that have a negative impact on the environment, as well as reductions and incentives that aim to promote sustainable solutions.
Together, they form a group of issues from different areas of tax law and other statutory liabilities aimed at achieving climate and environmental goals.
