MDDP has advised Griffin Capital Partners, a Polish investor and a private equity and real estate asset management firm, and Redefine Properties, a South African investor, on the acquisition of Stokado – one of the largest self-storage chains in Poland with facilities in several locations.

MDDP experts (Justyna Bauta-Szostak, Bartosz Doroszuk and Łukasz Zabłocki) advised on tax and financial aspects of the transaction. The legal assistance in the transaction was provided by Osborne Clarke lawyers: Agata Demuth, Piotr Brzózka, Aleksandra Sztajer, Katarzyna Chruślińska and Michalina Skarżyńska.

Through the transaction, Griffin Capital Partners and Redefine Properties seek to leverage their expertise to develop Stokado’s facilities in strategic locations, aiming to become a major player in the Polish market.
