We are pleased to announce that MDDP has become the Main Partner of the “Dangerous shots. 100 years of fashion photography in Poland” exhibition. From 5th July, at the Fort Institute of Photography Gallery in Warsaw, you will be able to see a unique exhibition dedicated to photos documenting the development of fashion in Poland over the last century. The exhibition is going to be open to visitors throughout the whole summer until September 12.
“Dangerous shots” is an attempt to trace the changes that have taken place over the last 100 years in the way the fashion world communicates with the recipient through image. – says Michał Suchora, the curator of the exhibition – The turbulent history of our country, economic, political and cultural changes – all this was reflected in fashion and its representations in photography. The exhibition collides with each other such various forms as covers of colourful magazines and photos from private archives.
The exhibition is organized by the Fort Institute of Photography Foundation, which aims to support Polish photography and promote it both in Poland and abroad, by organizing exhibitions, publishing photo books, and creating scholarship programs for Polish photographers.
