MDDP is a partner of First Legal Forum
This is the second time MDDP has become a partner of First Legal Forum organized by GLOBAL LAW HUB.
The Forum which takes place on May 25-26, 2023 in Warsaw brings together partners from the largest law firms in Europe, Asia, heads of domestic legal departments, advisors as well as specialists in the area of finance and ratings, business development.
MDDP is an active participant in the discussion on reactivating economic transformation and prospects of cross-border trade through the prism of economic crises, sanctions, barriers therefor our experts will be speaking at panel discussions:
- Anna Misiak takes part in the panel: Tax residence: form, essence and „trickes”. Experts will talk about the intricacies and features of the process of preparing for tax residence, the advantages and disadvantages of changing it, what “homework” a business should do and what risks it needs to be prepared for, discuss the features of tax residence in different countries.
- Agnieszka Kisielewska is a panelist in the discussion on: International sanctions and Ukrainian register of war sponsors: legal implications, impact on the future landscape of global trade and reputational consequences for companies. Panelists will focus on the real impact of international sanctions on the course of the war in Ukraine, their effectiveness, the prospects of the Ukrainian register of war sponsors, the peculiarities of its functioning and its impact on changes in the landscape of trade, economic and business relations.
