MDDP strengthens Personal Tax and Employer Advisory practice

As of 1 January, Agnieszka Telakowska-Harasiewicz, tax advisor and expert in the area of personal taxes and social security, joined MDDP’s Personal Tax and Employer Advisory Team as a senior manager.

The number of challenges for companies in terms of human tax management is constantly rising. Increasing competition in the labour market means that employers with a variety of employee benefit and remuneration systems are racing for the best employees – both to retain their key talent and to attract new one. In turn, different forms of employment, different remuneration models and types of fringe benefits have different tax implications.

“In the employee market, employers face the challenge every day of how to design effective payroll systems without consequently putting additional strain on the company budget. Very many companies take a conscious approach to this issue, seeking the support of tax experts to implement their staffing plans. We are very pleased that Agnieszka Telakowska-Harasiewicz, with her extensive experience, has joined our team, strengthening our core competences. With Agnieszka’s arrival, our PIT team will be able to even more effectively support entrepreneurs in tax settlements from the stage of their planning to already implemented projects or transactions in the area of personal income tax, inheritance and gift tax, tax on civil law transactions and social security,” – says Anna Misiak, partner and leader of the Personal Tax and Employer Advisory Team at MDDP.

Agnieszka Telakowska-Harasiewicz has extensive experience in advising Polish and international companies, public institutions and individual taxpayers in the area of personal taxes and social security. She conducts projects concerning remuneration and non-wage benefits, including tax-efficient employment and remuneration structures for employees and managers, the development and implementation of incentive programs, advice on 50% of deductible costs and conducting reviews of remuneration systems in terms of correctness of settlements, their efficiency and security. She supports sole traders in tax-efficient forms of business and advises on inheritance and gift tax and solidarity levy. Agnieszka also has extensive experience in the comprehensive tax care of HNWI clients, including the preparation of tax settlements of foreign capital income earned from investment accounts in  foreign financial institutions.
